A proposal for the refurbishment and reconfiguration of a large Grade II listed coach house into a guest house / boutique hotel on the site of Glastonbury Festival

The building housed a local shop and private residence, but is underused given it’s scale and location, next to the Glastonbury festival site, and close to the popular towns of Glastonbury and Wells. The Guest House would provide 9 large rooms with en-suites, a dining room, and retain the local shop as a focal point for the village.

We assessed the feasible business propositions by considering it’s location, space, character and looking at the local competition and demand, and sought business partners and investors to help advise as well as provide capital.
